MY ORIGINAL INTAKE INFORMATION:
Hi Everyone! My name is Jonathan, and I just arrived at CSAC from a shelter. I have suffered a series of unfortunate events in my life. I was found as a stray. I was covered in motor oil. The shelter thinks someone was following very old, bad, advice for treating skin issues. The shelter listed me as being VERY ill because I had very bad blood work numbers, but the vet found out later that there was an error on the report, and I was not really sick at all! While at the shelter, my time ran out and, I was one step away from being euthanized. They had given me anesthesia but found the note that a rescue was getting me so they stopped the process. No one is sure how old I am. The shelter guessed 14, the first vet guessed 8. Right now, I am in the caring hands of one of the great Vets that work with the CSAC. They are checking me out and making sure I am healthy. They think that my skin issues could be due to allergies. They can tell that I had a bad case in fleas in my past and that I must have been in a cage because I cracked a few teeth. They are still not sure how old I am. I think I will say I am 10. After some good vet care, hopefully I will find my new family that will turn me into a happy, cherished pet.
